I ended up stopping in to see the sales manager that day before I clocked in. It went well and later that night I got a quote. I said I had to think about it. I called the next day and gave a counteroffer. I had to wait over the weekend to hear back. On Monday, I was told they couldn't get the price down any further. On Tuesday, a different sales manager asked if I had bought the car. I explained what I'm paying now, what was offered, and what I offered to pay. Ten minutes later, my offer was accepted.
This is the first time I've ever negotiated the lease of a car. I've always had my dad there and normally would call my mom at some point to discuss the monthly payment and budget.

...yep, those are my balls. Thanks to my dad I now have a "trophy" aka my "balls."
I guess this means I'm growing up. I owe it to both my parents for teaching me well.
Oh, here's my new car. Pretty, huh?
