Who is your closest or most special friend that you’ve never met
and what do they mean to you? How did you cross paths? Talk about how you “met”
them: Facebook, Twitter, an online support group, etc.
I definitely thought this would be an easy challenge because of all of the people I've talked with online. But, I got nothing. I just went through all of my Facebook friends. There are three people that I've never met. One guy was friends with a girl I used to work with at BBDS&B. She now lives in Michigan with a boyfriend who apparently controls her every move. Me and this guy became Facebook friends when I tried to check-up on her and see how she was doing. Both of us have not been in contact with her for years. So, we're Facebook friends and actually friends on Instagram too. He posts really funny and random pictures of him and his boyfriend. They're adorbs. There are two other guys who I think I met on Yahoo. Did Yahoo used to have a chat of some sort? Or, maybe I met them on Blackplanet (don't laugh) and then we chatted on Yahoo messenger? I don't know...that's how long it's been. The one guy lives in Rockford, IL (GO PEACHES! "There's no crying in baseball"). I think his timeline is actually hidden from my Facebook feed. The other guy lives in Indianapolis with his family. We comment/like each other's Facebook stuff once in a while.
Twitter I mostly follow celebrities. I have a few friends that I personally know on there. I follow some of the former Mad Ants' players. I do have one favorite person I follow. Her name is Natalie and she lives in California. She used to be a producer (I believe) for Ryan Seacrest's radio show. She worked on a recent talk show called "The Talk." I'm not sure what she's doing now. But, she's by far the funniest person I follow. She watches a lot of the same shows I do and cusses like a trucker like I do. She doesn't follow me but she always responds to my tweets I send her. So I'm not sure I can really consider her a "special friend."
